intentional...

An honest truth: I don't talk about Jesus enough.

I teach about Jesus at least twice a week. I spend 8 hours on Mondays studying in Master's level courses about Jesus. I spend hours every week inside my office reading the words of Jesus. Yet...

I still live in disobedience when I walk through life, day after day, not introducing the people around me to Jesus. I'm hiding a treasure that doesn't belong to me. I'm honestly comfortable conversing about weather, sports, news, and politics. But the scene changes when the name comes up...you know the name...JESUS.

Whatever my excuse...it's unacceptable. I'm the man who listens (and teaches, and reads, and studies) to the Word and walks away without doing what it says (James 1).

I open myself up to let you know that you're not alone. You're not the only one who struggles with this. But we cannot stay here. We cannot keep quiet anymore. We must become intentional with not only our relationships but intentional with our words.

Oh God open my mouth to reveal your remedy to the world.
