big night for bama...

Things are lining up for Bama to make a serious move in the polls this week if they can pull off the upset of Georgia. USC and Florida both lost and a victory over the Dawgs would mean #1, #3, & #4 would all have lost this week. Bama could be in the top 5 for the first time in a long time. According to my buddy Dean Inserra's (www.deaninserra.com) ranking system, Bama should be #1 with a victory tonight because Bama would have a victory over a #3 (Geogria) and #9 (Clemson).

Other than Bama, things have been hectic this weekend. Two book critques and a systematic theology exam have taken most of my time. Thankfully, I've been doing a lot of preparation for this stuff on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Nothing like studying in the sun.

Sunday night is Quincy on a String. A night of music, guitars, banjos and fiddles. That's cool, but it's the homeade ice cream following Quincy on a String that I'm pumped about. Homemade ice cream is in my top three favorite desserts.

Roll Tide.
