Consistent Little Things...

Do you want to leave a mark on the lives of the people around you? Then do little things with them and for them CONSISTENTLY. In the life of pastors and leaders, our tendency is to always be looking forward to the the next big thing. The next big sermon series, the next big event, the next big vision, the next big ___________..... While dreaming and planning these big things are extremely important, don't sacrifice the little relational things that really become the mark of your impact on people. Although we put in the time, energy and passion to the big things, the reality is that most people will forget them. But they won't forget....

-How you called them every Tuesday at 4PM for a quick conversation
-How you sent a personal note every Thursday morning to the sick among you
-How you always gave them a ride home after a long night of preaching
-How you gave them a nickname and refused to call them their real name

We know this works. Why? How many times have you heard someone say..."You remember how _______________ always used to ____________.

Develop consistent little things in your relationships and enjoy the long-lasting results.
