A Christmas Miracle: Olivia June Suber.

In case you haven't heard, Sara Beth's oldest brother's wife had to have an emergency C-Section for Sara Beth's niece. We received a call at 1:30AM Sunday morning to come to Atlanta because the situation was not good. After 14 hours of anticipation in the hospital waiting room, God gave our family a miracle, Olivia June Suber at 5:56PM Sunday evening.

Olivia weighs only 1.5 pounds and was delivered 15 weeks early, thus the reason for the emergency C-Section. Although Olivia is very premature, doctors are giving the family hope that Olivia will survive and begin to thrive in an incubator over the next 12 weeks. There were incredible complications going on in Sara Beth's sister-in-law's body, and the life of Olivia was being threatened. We spent all of Sunday praying and begging God to do something to display His awesomeness, and sure enough, He did. Psalm 139 says that God "forms us" from day 1 in our mother's womb, and that His work from day 1 is "marvelous." For the first time in my life, I feel like I fully understand these verses. It was incredible to pray for a miracle and see it happen. Our God is truly awesome.

We will be back and forth from Atlanta several times over the Christmas break, and Sara Beth is still in Atlanta as I type. Please continue (or start) praying for this situation.

1. Pray for Olivia that her body would begin to grow stronger with each passing moment.
2. Pray for Adam and Heather (Sara Beth's brother and his wife) that they would find peace to walk through this tough time.
3. Pray that God would get all the glory for His miracle.
