Day 1: Covering Phang Gna in Prayer

Greetings from the other side of this planet! You're in bed getting ready for Tuesday morning to arrive while we are finishing up Tuesday with a nice Thai meal.

Our first full day in Thailand has been great. In order to help us recover from our long journey, our plans today included a tour of Phang Gna and a few stops for prayer walking. We hit the ground running tomorrow with stops in two schools and a journey into a Muslim fishing village. Pray that God begins preparing the Thai people for their first encounter with Jesus Christ. Culturally the people are so friendly, but they are in need of hope and a future. They are in need of Jesus. Pray that God removes all the barriers between the Thail people and Christ. Also, pray that God removes the barriers for us...things like, language, culture, and general hesitancy on the part of the Thai people.

I asked God for an Acts 2 experience this week. I asked that God's Holy Spirit would break the language barrier that seperates me and our group from the Thail people. I'm just saying, that would be sweet!

Lastly, my lips are still on fire from lunch, and thank God for Pepto Bismol.

Hey Mike & Saybeth,
Everything sounds great!!!! We are praying for you ALL the time and asking the Holy Spirit to lead the way, open hearts and trusting God for that Acts 2 experience. Have you all bumped into any of those giant warring angels yet, because they are surrounding you all the way! We love you......
